Description: This picture has been taken after a snow storm under intense and cold north-west wind close to the Pic de Nore summit of the Montagne Noire near the village. The ice clearly shows the wind direction (from the left to the right side of the picture). The pines of the second plan show the wind direction too. This freezing phenomenon is usual at this place in winter, and the frost can reach one meter on this kind of fence post. Here it frost measured around fifteen centimetres.
