Description: The Grand Canal in Dublin, one of two canals forming the boundary of inner-city Dublin from the suburbs, ices over from time to time. In this case, the colours of a famous pub, The Barge, are reflected in the ice as a bird strolls nonchalantly away from the picture taker. I like this picture because of the contrast of the reflected colours - the warmth of the brick, the cool of the windows - and the implied action on the behalf of the bird.
