Description: This picture shows raindrops falling on the balcony of my house during one of the first of this winter's rare showers. The contrast was set to Hard as was the saturation and the white balance was set to automatic. The motion of the drops was frozen using a compulsory flash burst.

Equipment used: HP Photosmart R690 (10MP) at f/5, using centre-weighted average metering with an exposure time of 1/196 sec on a setting for ISO-100 with no exposure bias but on aperture priority, effective focal length 104.
