Description: Extremely isolated cumulonimbus over the French Prealps. Surprisingly, this disorganized bunch of clouds eventually became a thunderstorm and offered about ten lightning bolts that seemed to come from nowhere. Two of them caught on this picture, which brings back great memories of that astounding heatwave evening (still 27°C at the time the picture was taken).
